On Thursday morning last week, Cllr Perry held his conservative group meeting in County Hall. It was apparent from the mood of that meeting that he has much more on his plate than just paper lanterns. A number of the conservative candidates are extremely concerned in the County that they may lose their seats in May. Indeed we are expecting a dash for Perry’s leadership role from one of his colleagues imminently. The lantern issue is just a complete sideshow and very ill thought out as one of his colleagues said ‘ he is so far removed from reality,he hasn’t even thought of the consequence of fireworks on County ground’.

Seems like Cllr Perry has nothing to do, has he forgotten the state of some of the roads, how many years has he been thinking about them, bet he doesn’t take that long to waste tax payers money.

So he has sat and thought about this for THREE YEARS, and decided to ban lanterns!
So glad the leader doesnt have anything worse on his mind!!!!!!!
