Trains between Water and Andover are due to restart after the incident this morning between Clapham Junction and Surbiton.
Although disruption is expected until around 3.30pm today, the first train from London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids will depart at 1.20pm.
Trains into London were being terminated at Basingstoke this morning.

Following a person hit by a train earlier between Clapham Junction and Surbiton all lines are now open.
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 mins or revised at short notice. Disruption is expected until 15:30 21/07.
Following an incident between Clapham Junction and Surbiton where a person was hit by a train, significant disruption is being experienced this morning for all services heading into and out of London Waterloo.
Lines have reopened and trains are running in both directions. Services will remain disrupted for the rest of the morning while we recover from the incident, as many train crews have been displaced and have been unable to work their next train service.
Raynes Park station has now reopened to trains travelling in both directions.
West of England services are now running to and from London Waterloo. The first train from London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids will depart at 13:20
