Take a leisurely Sunday stroll through town on 13 July and experience the best that Andover High Street has to offer in relaxed style.
Enjoy a coffee, listen to the toe-tapping sounds of local duo Common Ground in the Time Ring and browse the variety of vintage chic and clever craft stalls in residence at Bert and Gert’s Vintage Market from 11am to 5pm.
Stalls include handmade arts, crafts, jewellery, bags, cushions, home accessories, cards and vintage treasures. For the first time there will also be vintage aviation related merchandise including models, photo prints, and books.
After browsing take a while to relax and listen to the music and enjoy a snack from MB Catering who specialise in Mediterranean, Asian and British dishes.
Councillor Ian Carr, Leader of the Council, said: “The additional bustle and atmosphere of the Sunday markets in town provide a great addition to the shopping experience and encourage people to visit the town to shop. As part of the Andover Summit initiative the Council committed to bringing more markets to the High Street, and Bert and Gert’s regular attendance has been a major boost. “
This is the third Bert and Gert’s market for 2014, and they will be back again on 10 August for their final summer market of the year.
