Test Valley Borough Council is set to launch its innovative new Recycling Stars campaign at this Sunday’s Andover Carnival.
Staff from the local authority will be joined by a special guest to help raise awareness of the importance of recycling and show just how simple it can be.
Work will continue with residents throughout the campaign to find out what the Council can do to support them to lead a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Councillor Graham Stallard, Environmental Portfolio Holder, said: “It will be fantastic for the team to launch the campaign at the Andover Carnival and I know that they are very much looking forward to it. This is a major event for the local community and is a great opportunity for us to speak to people about the Recycling Stars initiative. We aim to increase recycling rates across the borough and will work closely with residents to achieve this.”
Recycling Stars will be launched in the south of the borough at the Romsey Carnival later this month.
