The Ripple Pond is a network of self-help support groups for families of injured servicemen and women in the UK and are setting up FREE groups in Andover and surrounding areas.
The groups are here for family members of those who have been impacted by events experienced, be that by physical injury or emotional trauma, while serving in the Armed Forces, however long ago and in whatever conflict or manner.
A spokesperson for The Ripple Pond said “We have set up local self-help support groups which will meet regularly (the members decide when for their convenience), with the sole aim of providing a space to express feelings safely, in a non-judgemental environment, where everyone is heard.”
“The groups are small giving those present plenty of opportunity to talk and off-load. The group meetings are arranged by people who have faced struggles of their own and have sought support to help them move forwards.”
