The Plough at Longparish has been named as one of “The 40 Best Restaurants in Britain” in the Observer Monthly by one of their peers.
Forty chefs were asked by the Observer Food Monthly to reveal their favourite places to eat with Emily Watkins from The Kingham Plough, Kingham, Oxfordshire selecting James Durrant’s local establishment.
Listed as 13th in the article Emily said “Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. The food is interesting, up-to-date, and beautifully executed.”
James met Emily when he took part in “The Great British Menu” going on to become “Main Course Winner 2014.”
