The 11th Test Valley Business Awards (TVBA) celebrations promised to be a night to remember, with guests treated to a sumptuous three course meal from Michelin Award winning McCrimmon & Reid and entertainment provided by solo vocalist Chris Berntsen.
Guest of Honour, the near-legendary TV & radio host Nicholas Parsons CBE, amused and engaged the audience of almost 200 with an energetic after dinner speech including anecdotes about Test Valley, his career in the entertainment industry and his congratulations to the finalists getting ready to hear the results:
“The Test Valley really is a wonderful place and I’ve so enjoyed myself tonight. All businesses here tonight as finalists have done a great job, just getting here!”
Inspiring words from this household name!
Chosen charity for 2015 – Community First Responders – moved the audience with an educational and inspiring presentation describing their vital work with the South Central Ambulance Service. The evening was a huge success for the charity as they raised an impressive £750 in cash donations!
The evening was beautifully orchestrated by the Master of Ceremonies, Steve Randall, and ended with the guests winning wonderful prize draws sponsored by local businesses.
A spokesperson for the TVBA We’d like to extend our thanks to all Sponsors, Nicholas Parsons, Steve Randall, the entrants, The Lights and all who have made the Test Valley Business Awards 2015 the best yet.
