There is some potential good news on the horizon for Andover Town Centre as Subway announced that it is currently looking at two sites within the town.
It is believed one is the old Stead and Simpson’s shop in the Upper High Street.
Mark Bradley, Development Agent for the SUBWAY® brand in East & West Sussex, Hampshire and Isle of Wight said:
“We have been looking at possible locations for a SUBWAY® store in Andover for a while now and are currently in the early stages of negotiating on two separate sites, with each store looking to create up to 15 new jobs in the area.”
“We are excited by the positive interest shown by the local community and look forward to providing the town with a wide range of great value and healthier options for everyone to enjoy.”
On a survey carried out by Andover Town before Christmas, Subway was one of the brands Andover residents said they most wanted to move into the town.
