There is a report of a house fire in Pen Close off Highlands Road in Andover this morning with various emergency services on the scene.
No current reports of any injuries and hopefully everyone escaped. We will post updates as they come through.
Update 10.45am
Sadly, one elderly female has died at the scene after fire crews were called at around 6.15am this morning.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage and a joint investigation with Hampshire Constabulary is due to commence today to determine what happened.
