Work is due to start on Red Post Lane next month (March) that will mean temporary road closure from Monday 10th March until work has completed – expected to be until Friday 14th March.
Diversions will be in operation however Hampshire County Council have said there will be reasonable access to adjoining properties while the works are carried out.
Proposed Temporary Road Closure – Part of Red Post Lane Weyhill
Description: temporary closure of part of Red Post Lane to allow repairs to structure supporting the carriageway.
Location: From the A342 Weyhill Road to Monxton Road.
Alternative routes: From the northern point of closure, east on A342 Weyhill Road, south on Monxton Road to the southern point of closure and in the other direction.
Duration of Order: From Monday 10 March 2014 for a period of 6 months or until completion of works, whichever is sooner.
Period of Works: It is expected the closure will be from 8 am Monday 10 March 2014 to 4 pm on Friday 14 March 2014.
Reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available while the works are carried out.
