Police are appealing for witnesses after this morning’s (Tuesday 17th February) crash on the A303 that closed the westbound carriageway after the Stockbridge exit.
Police have now confirmed three vehicles were involved in the incident at around 8.10am just past the junction with the A3057.
A white Peugeot panel van left the road and ended up down an embankment. The driver had to be freed by emergency services and has now been taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not said to be life threatening.
The other vehicles involved were a black Kia and an Iveco lorry.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about it is asked to contact the Whitchurch Roads Policing unit on 101.
