Police in Andover are investigating a burglary at Rookwood School on Weyhill Road overnight between Monday, June 2, and Tuesday, June 3.
Four laptop computers (three made by Toshiba and one made by Acer) were stolen. They are valued at around £1,400. In addition money for a school trip and a charity box were taken, this amounted to £350 in cash.
A significant amount of damage was caused to filing cabinets and locked drawers during the burglary. Whoever was responsible was selective about the property stolen leaving I-Pads and other more traceable items.
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Weyhill Road is asked to contact PC Tom Kingston at Andover police station on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
