Police are appealing for witnesses after high value jewellery stolen during aggravated burglary in the Sainsbury Close area of Andover during the evening of Thursday 12th February.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an aggravated burglary where high-value gold jewellery and passports were stolen.
Between 6.30pm and 6.45pm, one of the residents, a 58-year-old woman, was at home, when she heard a knock at the door. She opened the door and an unknown man barged in past her.
The woman was threatened by the man and another three people also came into her home. They were all wearing balaclavas.
The group searched the house and then stole a safe, which contained high-value gold jewellery, a significant amount of cash and passports.
Detective Constable Jonathan Duggan said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen these men in the area at the time.”
“I’m also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered gold jewellery for sale. The items are very pure and yellow in colour.”
