Following the success of the jobs fair in April, Test Valley Borough Council has arranged another event to be held on Monday, 29 September at The Lights, Andover.
The fair has been organised with Andover Job Centre Plus and local housing associations. More than 30 local employers attended the event in April, which attracted hundreds of people looking for advice and opportunities in a range of sectors including retail, catering and education. A similar number of employers will be present at this event.
Councillor Peter Giddings, Economic Portfolio Holder, said: “The jobs fairs are always extremely well attended and serve a valuable purpose. Encouraging communities to reach their full potential is a key priority for Test Valley Borough Council and events like this are vital opportunities for professional networking. The fairs also support the local economy and we continue to work hard to ensure that this remains competitive.”
The event will run from 12pm to 3pm. More information about the jobs fair can be found at www.testvalley.gov.uk.
