Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market is coming to town with the first autumnal market of the year on Sunday 21 September from 10am to 4pm.
More than 50 stalls will line the High Street with both old favourites and new faces. Jane’s Cake Delights, Anila’s Sauces and Tubbs Cosmetics will be joining the market for the first time to share their wares, and there will be face painting and glitter tattoos for children.
Adding to the atmosphere will be music in the Time Ring from Andover Town Band and local duo Morrison, and refreshments from the popular Chit Chaat Chai and Oaktrack Smallholding.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Ian Carr, said: “The Andover Farmers’ and Crafts market has grown in size and popularity as the year has gone on and now provides a much anticipated monthly treat for food lovers and Sunday morning browsers alike. The Star 1 bus service now also runs on a Sunday, making the town, and the Sunday markets, more accessible.
“The calendar of market events was put together as a result of the Andover Summit, and has now become a regular fixture that enhances the retail offering in the High Street and draws people into the town.”
