The “Hampshire Hot Rides Old Skool Come Back Charity Cruise” in Andover was labelled a success last night (Sunday 10th August) as car owners came from around the area to show off their machines.
The venue of Enham Arch Retail Park started to fill before the 7.00pm start time and 3 hours later the event had raised £143.00 for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance as well as giving car owners a chance to show off their vehicles.
Hampshire Police were also in attendance to offer advice and guidance on driving vehicles in a safe manner and to help ensure the safety of all those concerned and the general public.
Organiser Michael Ford said “It was a brilliant turn out. We had the Police turn up and also donated money and joined it with taking pictures. Everyone was really well behaved.”
Another cruise is hoped to be organised later this year.
