Local vintage furnishings retailer La di da has been selected to be the Annie Sloan paint shop in Andover, finally giving the town an outlet for the quality chalk based paint manufacturer.
With their new stock having just arrived, La di da owner Nicky Pumfrey said: “Many people will be familiar with Annie Sloan who manufacture chalk based paints for painting furniture and for period properties but for those who are new to this product we will be holding classes to teach you paint techniques and how to use the various fabulous products that Annie Sloan has created.”
She added: “The classes should appeal to a lot of people as most of us have an old piece of furniture we would like to revive and La di da have the knowledge and training with the fab Annie Sloan products to do exactly that.”
Now approaching its 4th year of trading, La did da is also expanding with the introduction of new business partner Yanina Prieto who comes from an art and craft background and who will be responsible for passing on her knowledge of the brand and of how to successfully up-cycle furniture.
