A flock of miniature sheep have gone walkabout, reported missing from Encounters Andover at 91 High Street.
These timid creatures have braved the elements in search of the places and people they’ve heard so much about from visitors to the Encounters shop. Many brave sheep are now lost in the Andover ‘wilds’ looking to meet a friendly Andovarian who will return them home.
Andover used to hold the biggest sheep fair in country with people coming from miles around. Encounters Andover are exploring what would make people come to Andover from miles around today. How can we learn from the past and create a town that we can all participate in and feel part of?
Come explore this question and many more at Encounters Andover. You can find them at the top of Andover High Street opposite Hobos. (They’ve got nothing to sell but lots on offer.)
What to do if you find a sheep
If you find a sheep and return it to Encounters before the 15th of June you will be rewarded with a voucher from The Travelling Cupcake.
Encounters are keen to recover and document their sheep’s adventures so you will be encouraged to have a picture taken with the sheep. Alternatively you can take your own photo and share it on social media.
But you’ve got to find one first! Please keep your eyes peeled. They’re white, and wooly, and approximately 3.5cm tall.
