A 25-year-old man and woman have been injured in a crash when their motorcycle left the road in Titnore Lane, Clapham yesterday afternoon (Sunday 14th September).
The motorcyclist and his pillion passenger were both seriously injured after their blue-and-white Suzuki GSXR left the road and crashed in Titnore Lane, near its junction with the A280 Water Lane, Clapham, at 3.53pm.
The bike’s 25-year-old rider and his pillion passenger, a 25-year-old woman, both from Andover, Hampshire, were both thrown from the machine.
The man was taken to Worthing Hospital for injuries including a broken collar bone. The woman was airlifted to St George’s Hospital, London, by the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance with more serious injuries.
No other vehicle was involved. Titnore Lane was closed to traffic while emergency services were on scene. The road re-opened at 7.20pm.
