Police are appealing for information after a 12-year-old boy was robbed on Roman Way in Andover on Tuesday 9th June 2015.
The victim was walking on the footpath between Florence Court and Venice Court and Roman Way shortly before 5.00pm.
As he took out his mobile phone an unknown man approached him and grabbed it from his hand. The man then shoved the boy causing him to fall to the floor.
The suspect ran off into Venice Court with the phone. He is described as: black, aged in his late teens, just over 5ft tall, short, black African-Caribbean style hair, wearing a very light green hooded top with a Nike tick on the front and the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms with red stripes down the side and black/brown trainers with black soles.
The boy suffered a pain to his knee.
The stolen phone is a green Nokia Lumia 630 worth around £80.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Roman Way area at the time and saw what happened or saw the suspect. They would also like to hear from anyone who recognises the description of the suspect or knows who he is.
